Dr. Ryan's Mailbag: Is It Possible To Lift Sagging Skin? Plus More...

Hello, my name is Dr. Ryan Shelton and since today is Friday, it’s time for another weekly mailbag where I answer two essential questions from customers who need skincare advice. My first question this Friday comes from Margaret in Sacramento, CA.

Q: Hi Dr. Ryan! I wanted to ask if it’s possible to get rid of the sagging skin in the middle of my neck. I have tried so many things but nothing works!

A: Hi Margaret! I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had such a hard time trying to find something to help lift your sagging neck skin. It’s possible to lift the skin in this area, but it takes some strong ingredients to do that.

Don’t worry, I’ll give you a few recommendations!

First, I’d highly recommend Oat Kernel extract. I’ve personally seen some shocking results from this ingredient. It’s incredible how much of a difference it makes!

If you want to help lift, tighten and firm your skin, oat kernel extract is exactly what you need, and it’s in my Neck Firming Cream!

Next, it’s really important to keep the skin around your neck hydrated.

That’s because dry, crepey skin can make your sagging neck area look a whole lot worse.

To do that, try Teprenone. This ingredient is amazing at hydrating and moisturizing the skin, helping it appear healthier and more radiant.

Having healthy skin will go a long way to helping you feel more confident about your neck area, so don’t miss out on this ingredient!

All in all, a lot of people neglect their neck area, but if you start using these two ingredients, they can help you see the difference you’ve been waiting for in your complexion.

I can’t wait to see your transformation, Margaret!

My next question comes from Shirley in Denver, CO.

Q: Dear Dr. Shelton, I’ve had some very bad reactions to my cleanser and I need to find something new that will help heal my skin. Do you have any ideas for me?

help heal skin reactions

A: Hello Shirley! Thanks for asking me this question. I’d be happy to help you find something that is going to help heal your skin and be safe enough for you to use.

Before we start, though, it’s important to know why you reacted to the cleanser you have.

You may need to speak to your doctor or see a dermatologist who can examine your skin and figure out what it was that your skin didn’t like.

This is a good idea simply because once you know what your complexion reacts to, you can avoid it.

Now, onto something that I think will help heal your skin and create a smoother, softer complexion…

I have a few essential oils in mind that could help you. Each of these oils helps to fight bacteria, soothe the skin and create a stronger protective barrier.

These essential oils are Lavender oil, Peppermint oil and Tea Tree oil, which are all included in my Lavender oil cleanser.

Not only do each of these smell amazing, but they have been shown to have a healing effect on the skin and they could help you get your complexion back to where it was before your painful reaction.

Since your skin is damaged, it's vulnerable to all types of bacteria and impurities that could end up making your problem worse, but these three essential oils can help you avoid that.

Not only will you love the smell, but you’ll also love the results!

I hope this helps, Shirley!
